Rehearsal Fun

"And now," cried Max, "let the wild rumpus start!"

You know where the wild things are?  They're at Abilena Plantation!

Today was sooooo much fun.  Family and friends started rolling in and we arrived at Abilena to set up and prepare for the big day.

I have been so in awe of this place.  I mean, look at the view from the Carriage House, where the reception will take place.

Now I've been a little nervous about the weather, but today was gorgeous!  The water was warm and the sun was out!  Let us hope that tomorrow is a repeat of today.

So, we took the time to set up the Carriage House with our light strings, and we arranged the tables the way we want them.  I am so grateful for the willingness of our friends and family to not only give us amazing suggestions for layout and design but because they put in the work to get it done.  This was a family effort.

After setup, we rehearsed.  Little man and I waiting to practice walking down the aisle.

Then the evening shenanigans began.  Welcome to the Speakeasy!  Prohibition era basement bar.  Just remember that what happens in the Speakeasy, stays in the Speakeasy!
