50 Shades of Blue

Christian Grey's got nothing on us.  He can take his 50 shades of grey because we found a whole mess of blues to look at to find just the right color for the bridesmaid dresses.

So, given the Thin Blue Line theme, the wives and I started looking at bridesmaid dresses on the Dessy website and we found out that there are a ton of different versions of blue, so we needed to find just the right blue for the wives to wear.

I am not joking.  There are so many choices under the "blue" category.  They have Amethyst, Sailor, Sapphire, Silver Sapphire, Midnight, Midnight Gold, Oasis, Ocean Blue, Sofia Blue, Royalty, Lapis, Larkspur, Larkspur Gold, Icelandic, Icelandic Silver, Mist, Cloudy, Cloudy Silver, Coastal, Pantone Turquoise, Spa, Cerulean, Cornflower, Windsor Blue, Celedon, Celedon Silver.

After the wives picked their favorite, I sat down with hubs and showed him and the color he picked just happened to be the same as the wives.  It is called Sapphire Silver and it looks to be the same blue as the sapphires in my engagement ring, but with a hint of silver shimmer to it.

Say yes to the Thin Blue Bridesmaids' top pick.  They're still looking and haven't formally decided, but I really hope they pick this one.
