Thin Blue Invitiations

With the Thin Blue Line theme, we really wanted to find a creative way to do our invitations.  I spent hours on google trying to find something clever, while simultaneously trying to find the clipart needed for the cake topper design (still working on that).

In the process of searching for handcuff pictures, we came up with the idea to take at least one picture with the two of us cuffed to each other after the ceremony is complete.  We talked about having Crystal cuff us and we walk down the aisle to start our "life sentence" together, and things just expanded from there.

We knew that our people were coming in from far and wide, and so we wanted them to have everything they would need at their fingertips.  We came up with the idea of being on the other side of the line, and decided that a serious, formal invitation was not the way for us to go.

I've been holding off on posting this because we wanted the invitations to be a surprise, but now that we're a week out from the RSVP return date, I'm confident that with the exception of those which got lost in the mail, the majority of our people have seen the invitations already.

We hope our guests will enjoy these, and have fun with the RSVP's.  We haven't received many at this time, but we look forward to seeing what options people choose.

So, without further adieu, behold our creative masterpiece:

And of course, no invitation can be complete without an RSVP!
