Chocolate and Cherries and Deliciousness

We met with the cake lady today.  It was supposed to be a cake tasting, but she must have forgotten about my being Gluten Free because she only brought regular cakes.  I guess it was good luck that Hubs was off work and was able to come.

He tasted the chocolate cake and the almond cake and liked both, so she said we could do different flavors for each round of the three tier cake.  So, we will have different combinations.

For the Groom's Cake, she's going to do a cheesecake for us.  How lucky for us!  I am just nervous about the fact that she forgot the GF part.  I will have to keep reminding her of it as we get closer to the day of.  I don't want to be poisoned on our big day.

Anyway, we're hoping she can do our fire pit cake as a replica of our fire pit with "tree" so that it really represents us.
